Well the reason they moved away from the slots was because of thermal creep. The CPUS kept pushing themselves out of the sockets over time as they were powered on and off. I still think this technology is many years off though.

Far better then FF2. I love FF3. It loads faster, uses less memory, and is way more secure. Microsoft has a lot of room to catch up on now. By the time they finalize the stuff for IE8 the next version of FF will be well under development.

I heard about this awhile ago. I think it is an interesting concept. Are there any reports on how efficient the cooling actually is? it looks great on paper but I won't make any judgment on it until I see an actual CPU running with this and some real temperature data numbers.

Yeah comcast does suck. I do find it entertaining when sites get taken down. I remember when the hacks at microsoft got real bad and they had to bring out some linux servers in order to keep the site up.
