I currently have a busted up Lenovo ideapad with intel he 4000 graphics with a charging port about to come off it's doesn't have much longer :( I'm looking for a sub $1000 laptop, the most bang for my buck. Suggestions?

I like Lenovo products but their gaming laptops suck. The Asus Rog Strix GL502VS-DS71 would be my first choice but it well out of your budget, as it lists for $1500 form Microsoft, more from other resellers. Than there is the budget Acer Predator Helios 300, it features an Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and the an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, 256GB SSD. That sells for $999 at Amazon. Win 7 end of life is January 2020, and just like Win XP you can expect MS NOT to extend its life beyond that date. Frankly I would not wait until than to upgrade to Win 10 as MS is still offering a free upgrade to it if you do not mind a little white lie or two. If you use accessibility technologies on your machine like the screen narrator or the magnifier you can get it for free by going here But the free offer expire December 31, so hurry if interested. Oh and MS does nto check if you do use the accessibility tech.
