Topic: How much RAM is overkill?   Go to last post
Posted: Saturday, May 16, 2015 4:10:24 PM(UTC)
I'm fairly new to PC gaming, so I still have a lot of unanswered technical questions. One that just came up during a conversation with a friend of mine is how much RAM is needed. Currently I have 8gb DDR3 RAM and so far, it seems to be performing very well. However, this friend of mine pretty much told me that 8gb is a joke and that I need to aim at getting at least 16gb of RAM. He currently has 32gb. I personally feel like he has it just to have it and that all of that RAM isn't really necessary, however I've been wrong before so I don't know. What are your thoughts on this?
Topic: Cyberpower Syber Vapor I   Go to last post

I have had my Syber Vapor I for about 3 months now and I am LOVING it. It really is the perfect way to bring PC gaming into the living room due to it's small, yet very capable design. I switched from console gaming on mostly Sony products to PC gaming with the Syber Vapor and I really couldn't be happier. I do still keep my Playstation 4 around because some of the newer AAA titles such as The Witcher 3 are just a bit too much for the machines i3 processor. I do recommend that anyone who is considering a Syber Vapor I consider upgrading the CPU to an i5 at purchase. Despite minor shortcomings on some AAA titles, the Syber Vapor I is a great rig for the price and is the best way to bring PC gaming into the comfort of your living room.

I am currently playing a few games actually. I am actually a pretty dedicated gamer. Right now I'm playing GTA Online (who isn't?) on both PC and PS4 depending on where I have more friends online at the time. I'm also just about done with The Witcher 2. Gearing up for May 19th. I've also been on Arma 3 playing the Asylum Altis Life servers and I'm going through my 3rd playthrough of the Mass Effect series.
