What's up everybody! i just decided to update with some more pics of my work. i'm still fixing up my character in Maya, made some tweaks here and there to the face and body. i'm still working on the hands.

That is a good question. I could hire someone, it would have to come from backing of a kickstarter. Everyone involved in the kickstarter would collect a fee. The more revenue generated; the more time can be spent on the project.

Yeah I've chatted with a couple. Most of the people I've chatted with have their own directions though, which is plenty understandable. It's not easy assembling a team. I'll just have to set aside more time towards my creations, it should also help boost my convincing for others to join.

Yeah my new desktop resolution runs at 1440p. I'll try my best to resize them to fit the thread.

Well anyways, there's a lot road blocks ahead in creating a game. I'm trying to create something similar to the 32 and 64 bit era, at least for the characters. but even with that, there is still the mechanics to take care of and producing the AI. A few i have spoken to have said to me that even with the simple project i want to do, it may still be too complex for one person.

I don't really plan on giving up on my dream but I will say that progress will be pretty slow. I also do have a life on the side sharing the same time, and my friends and family to be with. I'll do my best to put more of my stuff out there when i can.

So sorry to post a response a little late. i have been busy with some other things. to keep everyone up to date, i am still working on my graphics still. I'm still tinkering around with the materials of UE4. Epic just released 4.8 some time ago and i'm still checking the updates made to it.

Anyways here is my model currently in UE4, (Still a WIP)

I'm testing out the materials shaders in the engine. the engine also supports full movement for object based reflections in real-time. (as you can see in the second pic)

@Blackhawk, the art direction feels a lot like Crysis. more images.

The main Character Pisces kind reminds me of this one old video game character. Alicia from Bullet Witch. (just the face)

well what do you know, my project's concept art has a little bit of the original final fantasy VII in it, and here we are now with final fantasy VII getting a full remake.
