I was surprised myself, I mean in some tests I was barely getting 1fps(cpu tests).
I saved the score and I'll post it on futuremark before anyone argue.
I'm pleased with my purchase and I am pretty sure anyone will be with any of the new high end card.
It is true what they say, running Lost Coast at 1920x1200 with HDR and aa all cranked up is something one must see.

Last night I had time to run 3dmark06 benchmark and I was able to it 5400 wihtout any tweaks at all.
Everything stock no overclock and I didn't even tweak windows, nada.

Anyway, I'll have to try FEAR, BF2 and some good old quake 4 later today!<

I got a 1900 Crossfire last night.
The guy was leaving for europe and sold his pc in parts. So I got the crossfire edition which is basically a 1900xt for like 475 canadian not taxed since it was used(less than one month).

Anyway I'd say the 1900xt is plenty. In many benchmarks (vs. the 1900xtx) the difference is constantly 5% on average. It is also possible to flash the bios of a 1900xt and have it clocked to 1900xtx easy, just make sure you have good cooling and if I am not mistaking, Samsung memory(jb12)
Also Ati has AVIVO technology which is cool if you plan to encode ujsing H.264.

As a one card solution my 2 cents is that ATI is the way to goo.
If on the other you plan to use multiple graphic card(Xfire or SLI) I suggest Nvidia.

It always is a mixed bag. I replaced my 7800gt CO with the ATI because I had a good deal, otherwise I would have kept it. I haven't even had the time to try the card, but I'm sure it'll complement the 24' inch monitor quite well.

Good day

I hope you will use the vga connector, because the 20 inch from dell doesnt have HDTV support not the connector for that matter.

It has composite and s-video only I believe.

Still a nice monitor, only poroblem is that it suffers from stains.

Btw I just purchased Burnout Revenge and Ghost Recon Advanced WArfighter and I cant even play with them tonight .....bouhouhbohbubh

I don't know if it counts but I'm using a dell 24fpw for all my pc, tv and xbox 360 needs.

Gotta love the numerous inputs and off course HDTV compatibility!!!

I'll try to post pics later!
