Death of the notebook computer? My notebooks killed my desktop pcs.
With off-line drives, storage, wifi to fit the tablet pcs, I'm looking to soon replacing my Dell XPS-15 notebook with it[censored]ard SSD, 16gb DDR3, 1tb HDD, Bluray drive, USB3, Bluetooth, HDMI, etc. The replacement tablet pc will be half the weight, and at least double the battery life.

If USA "justice" was true justice, then Apple should be fined $one billion, plus -- for copying Samsung's design.
Summary points "Not" should have included what was explained in the previous paragraphs:
No memory expansion, such as by flash cards.
Not mentioned in this "review":
Battery replacement is practically impossible, so after 2 years, its garbage.
NFC is not fully implemented: Apple Pay only.
USB (3?) can only be used with the supplied converter-cable.
USB accessories (mouse, externals, etc) may not be usable.
Apps ported from Android (Swiftkey, etc) are earlier versions.
Primary camera is only 8mp.
Only 1gb internal RAM (not 2 or 3 gb of its competitors)
Many internal parts are made by Samsung.
Much more expensive than comparable products on Microsoft & Andoid operating systems.
App developers are not allowed to provide powerful apps.
Ah! The joys of shortsighted optimism & positive thinking.
Still, if it was not for high risk adventurism, with it majority of losers and losses, we'd be as backward & primitive as the homeland of my great-grand parents: China.
Fast wifi, USB3 ... allows fast off-line data access & storage. Hopefully this will replace my Dell XPS-15 (i7, 16 gb ddr3, SSD, 1tb HDD, NVIDA, etc).
Looking forward to better voice recognition software & hardware on 64 bit CPUs. Looks like Desktop PCs will be replaced by powerful Android tablets as well. Tablet + offline storage (USB3, wifi, etc) will make my other PCs useless, I hope.
From an Australian (anti-female, anti-colored) perspective, this means disaster for any company, USA, multi-national or not. Hopefully this Australian thinking, which in my opinion, is quite wrong. I'm surprised that no other comments have been made by this very strange management appointment, on the context of gender, skin-color in a Caucasian culture.
This report has some comparisons with IOS and Apple products. Android & Dell cannot compare, so IOS is not mentioned in the summary, or in tests where IOS is not equal or worse than its competitors. I am very puzzled why the comparison with phablets in this tablet review. Overall, Apple's IOS is the winner?
