Just imagine if not for the success of one title, they wouldn't have something to milk for 10 years and they would have went under like so many better companies before them. A price hike in one region for no apparent reason, other then a plot Mr. Krabs would come up with, seems like a ridiculous ploy for putting some frosty peaks on their mountain of cheap money.
I realize that I'll probably never like the start screen, and a lot of the elegance 7 has brought, I'm willing to try it now. With greater customization and the system being almost identical except for the start screen, I'll be able to adapt. Even still, I think I would cave and download a mod to add back the start menu, even though that should be a built in option.
Awesome read, when I have the money I'm definitely upgrading. Would make for a great dual display, and one hell of a panoramic view when playing games. All the built in features and the solid hardware in it seem to be the icing on the cake.
Nice article, very intriguing. I'm interested to see how this kind of technology building is built upon in the future.
Looks like a nice piece of hardware, would like to see speeds when it's the C; boot drive though. Kind of important, as that's what a lot of SSD's are used for
I run the 660 and almost every game I have can be run on ultra. However, if I can see needing the faster speeds if you're doing video rendering. Very nice card
The build seems really solid, even has a blu-ray player. My only quarrel is the aesthetics of the optical drive don't quite match the sleek/shiny aesthetics of the case. Other then that, It looks really nice
