MS is starting to pick up steam in tablet sales too, I now know three others with surface tablets, two of which are SP3... In just my department.
"If you're feeling generous, Apple likely made this change to improve device security under OS X."
Enabling an INDUSTRY STANDARD on third party disks cannot be a security related issue. TRIM is an entirely hardware based function (well, SSD controller level, which is software technically) that cannot interfere with any encryption or data integrity!
OneDrive was already the single cheapest cloud provider out there, this is just icing on the cake. Encrypt your files with high level encryption before upload and you have a perfect provider.
Not all toys are for kids, including the toys that woman likely has in her drawer. ToysRUs sell plenty of R rated merchandise, including at one time Conkers Bad Fur Day (pretty much the only R rated cartoon style video game), hundreds of mature rated video games, and some R rated movies as well.
Toys R Us has a responsibility to the community to fight against overbearing censorship!
Sounds like an amazing thin-client, it could practically replace register machines overnight
"Over the course of two months, multiple employees at Stone Temple sat at a desk, asking a bunch of questions to each service - 3,086 in all. "
False, the number of questions asked was different in each test, and it's safe to assume that question parity was not important for this group of amateurs.
If they reinstate the ban we should sue to have the FAA reinstate crewmember weight limits! I've been hit by flight attendants fat asses more in the last five years than the 20 before!
Surprisingly there's not much there that wasn't shown off in Clip Studio Paint a year ago! (Manga studio 5 )
That software doesn't only support touch and pen, but actually includes non-linear pressure mapping that photoshop doesn't have
You do know that 10TP right now is just Windows 8 with undocked apps (pointless because apps are meant to be fullscreened, and in TP using them fullscreen causes apps to crash and corrupt) and a useless start menu right?
Under the hood, it's just Windows 8.1, and when you disable the start menu it's identical in form and function!
Proud owner of three system with 8.1 (including a surface) and one 2012r2 server. UI was perfect for desktops and tablets, but did suffer some complications on laptops (trackpads are garbage for modern UI) and UI was not a good fit for servers (at least a management server with GUI, most run core only so no loss for most)
10 TP currently is very buggy due to the insistence on metro apps working like windows apps, despite being much better when split screened (8.1's split view is perfect except for the fact it splits only vertically)
