Isn't it funny how when Apple says "Only 9 instances reported" that weeks later people bash Apple for there being "more than 9"? You cannot hold to a statement of a quantity of bent phones weeks or months after the origininal statement. That's just rediculous. Of course there might be more now than there was then, that's to be expected.
Now if we can only get the American car companies to pursue such an aggressive move to electric we'd be all set.
I think that's great! Why not have some fun with the assistant?
Siri hasn't gone through too many refinements since inception, I hope Apple can keep up with Cortana.
I'm all for refining the device, but if they wait too long someone else is going to get one to market before Oculus.
That I think would be a bad thing.
I can't wait to see someone walking down the street with an iPad mini stuck to their face.
Sometimes being first is not the best. Even though much of the technology announced for the new iPhone has been around, Apple is pushing for market acceptance (for Apple Pay and NFC) of this where I have not seen any other company do so. Integrating the technology so it is actually usable for me is by far more valuable than being first and unable to utilize it.
Nothing like having an ultra-state-of-the-art phone that supports NFC paying ability yet have very limited places that actually support it.
I was never a huge fan of Apple, but I've got to hand it to them with regards to marketing, integration, and pushing for not only improving the hardware/software, but making it usable in everyday life, which is why I think they are so popular.
Interesting concept, and the way everything is going to the "cloud" it seems only natural that there be some kind of cloud based gaming, where the entire processing is performed on the server and the user just gets piped the graphics of what happened.
The U.S. needs to change the infrastructure for this to be a reality though. Our speeds compared to other countries is lower than it should be, especially since we are supposed to be the leader in all this innovation.
I have a 240 GB SSD and LOVE it (and it IS a Samsung too). Took my 3-4 (or more) minute boot up down to under 30 seconds.
Congratulations! Looks like an awesome system.
As a game, with orcs, goblins, dragons and walking/talking fighting cows I'm not worried about any lack of reality by changing the past and any perceived paradox in the new Draenor expansion.
I am looking forward to this expansion, the introduction of garrisons looks like fun. Been poking around in the Beta but don't want to spoil too much for when the expansion hits in a few months.
