Topic: Origin PC, CyberPowerPC Release Thin And Light Gaming Notebooks   Go to last post

I like that things are moving this way but the biggest downside to these is the lack of being able to upgrade it myself and still being stuck at 16GB of RAM. I really need a thin laptop that I can run multiple VMs on at the same time and game on until I am done with school and work.

I want to see a thin 17.3 inch notebook with

i7 top of the line processor

32GB of RAM

Dual SSDs Accessible by user for upgrading even if mSATA form factor

a single standard hdd bay

Nvidia 980 GPU

See as someone that has been building computers since the 486.66 DX2 days. It is all in what you want to do and what your budget is. I have had better luck with AMD over Intel for longevity and had people that say the same for Intel. When it comes down to it find something that will do what you want it to do and plan for it to do for atleast 3 to 5 years. That is how I put together computers for people.

I always struggle with keeping up on forums but this would be a nice build to work with for games and my school database classes.
