I love this. For some reason the reclamation aspect of it really inspires me!

Mark my words: Google is shooting to develop their own "drones" (unmanned aircraft). This could definitely help them.

I think there's a reason that one of the top brass of Google spoke out against the public owning and using personal drones....it's not normal for top-level executives to have a problem with that kind of thing normally.

'Course, I could be way off too, maybe he just had a concern out of the blue. Time will tell [:)]

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with Nvidia. Seems they've been bit by Apple's glamour-tech bug. Or perhaps they are trying to boost console sales?

Seriously, we don't need more high-end cards, just fairer prices on the cheap ones. And there's no need for all the metal on these things, it just raises the cost for Nvidia and consumer. It gives very little if any value. Tech will become outdated, why bling it up?

Don't get me wrong, I love Nvidia's products. I just don't think they are headed down the right path with this.

Personally, I think they might be feeling a little bored because AMD's tech isn't keeping up. However, if they put this new tech against AMD's at the previous price-point, it would put AMD out of business, which wouldn't be good for anyone. So they decided to make them more expensive, since they have the room to work with...

So is it seriously going to be a console exclusive? Or am I missing something?

I don't think the other carriers will be worried. If they sell it under that color name, it'll deter plenty of sales. Do they also have a Columbine Green, and a Sandy Hook Pink?

Hey, it was better than Microsoft's recent adds at least. [:P]

Simple answer:

Windows 8.

People still need to have and use computers. If Windows PCs aren't selling, and many don't know that Linux exists......where do you think they are getting their computers?

I'd buy one! I love to write by hand, but there are very few good alternatives to pencil/pen and notepad, and since I don't like to lug a notebook everywhere, I think this would be great for me. Also, if they improve the resolution and response time just a little, it'd make a great artist sketch-book (mostly just for practice stuff).

Can't wait to see how this transforms the modern tech world.

I've been waiting for a breakthrough like this, as batteries are the boon/bane of all modern portable tech. If this technology is as good as it sounds, it should the electric cars, cell-phone usage, laptop usage, etc., etc.
