Time to upgrade some machines around the office, The 470 line will be the choice.

Correction: The Core i5-3450 uses the Intel® HD Graphics 2500, not the HD 4000.

Well, Silverstone offers the Raven RV01-BW for those that want the same features but Its Plastic/Steel and looks more stealth-plane-like at about $230. But there is also the All Aluminum Temjin Series TJ11B-W at under $700 thats a little bigger.

What would be interesting is if Maingear would sell the Shift as a stand alone and not a combo with the Cooler and Audio card, as a case like this attracts the big water cooling fanatics.

All in All I think that the $899 asking price is a bit fair, if the Shift would sell on Newegg alone , it would probably be valued between $500-$600. But still too expensive my taste.

Very Classy looking case with a lot of presence . Great showcase and build video , Nice n clean inside. Mr Altavilla has some good cable management skills. Joel already tested the Epic 180 so I already know what its capable of, so all in all a great combination of products.

Considering HD prices at this time, the 3TB Barracuda model is very cheap. I should buy one soon for back up purposes.

@Neil agreed, most of the hard drives that I have owned are Seagate, extremely reliable. If a hard drive is going to fail , it usually happen in the first week which in my experience, that has been the situation. I only had three fail ever, and trust me , I have bought plenty.

Thank for the honest review Paul, when it comes to monitor reviews, I only trust you and Eric Franklins judgement . Its a good enough panel and NEC is a one of the best Brands when it comes to monitors but the price is a little too steep for my taste ,and although it does offer a few more features than other competing models and size, its not priced competitive enough for a TN Panel.

I recently bought a 27' Planar monitor from Dell for more than half the price of the NEC. It's for a Music Studio, I haven't had time to check it out , but buyer reviews are favorable so I expect it to be very good. No complaints so far from the studio, they like it.

Man , I really hate the taste of bacon, yuck. I a lot of people seem to love it though. Anyhow, I'm not even the least bit curious to try that shake.

I just don't understand how Sony has managed to stay in the electronics business this long. All I hear is them losing money all the time, its been like that for years.

@JOliver I totally agree with your first part, Sony was the ish back then, I owned a couple of those Wega TV's.

To most people, there is little if any difference in the major brands of flat panel

Actually, I Have two Samsung and I would not buy any other brand. When it comes to movies, I don't stream or download from torrents, I have a healthy library of Blu Rays and I take the picture quality of a TV and my movies very serious, no cheap brands for me.
