That was Some Good Reading, thanks for the excellent, easy to read review Marco, as always... I had better expectations for the Amd Fx 8 core processor but it turns out to be a dud and did not fulfill as advertised. I have no reason to upgrade my x58 system with a 950@ 3.8 with a GTX 470. It's still going strong.....But still..the Amd Fx does a good job at the benchmarks that appeals to me like Video renders and multi-threaded applications., just no enough to win me over ...I did do as usual and compared reviews....I noticed something fishy going on several sites, I think they sold out to Amd for favorable reviews...glad I'm part of the most respected and reliable tech site around.... HotHardware.COM...thanks for the honest review, see ya guys around soon.
Actually, Its quite cool, I've won many cool prizes because of facebook, including here @ HH, Facebook is has been phenomenal!!
I Believe you...I think that you can call it official, everyone is reviewing the 990FX AM3+ boards with Phenom Processors! This Sucks..And its boring..Who cares if it support Sli and its compatible with Phenom, I want to see BullDozer in Action!!

[quote user="realneil"]Odds are that this will be normal fare in a year because everyone is going to want the performance boost, and having it built-in means that it will work, and be easy to set up.
Where's that 4.8GHz overclock laptop for testing? I wanna see the thermals testings and the performance on that monster!!
How does this Smart Response Technology work, and how does the motherboard/processor use the SSD?
and I think it wont be that much expensive ,I expect it in $250 range or less.
So, who are you going For and in how many games??
Intel Core i7 740QM?? 4GB of RAM, and a measly 500GB hard drive...I can get a 2GHz Quad Core Sandy bridge Laptop with 6Gb ram, and 750GB HD w/Bluy Ray, 17 inch 1080p screen, for less than a grand!!
