What do you think? Is it enough? (I'm not planning to SLI)
OK, thanks for all the replies. I'll go for a 2nd gen i5.
I was wondering this since the main difference between first and second generation processors is the onboard GPU, and I intend to use a good vid card, so I won't be using the onboard one. Basically my question is: Should I go for the cheaper first gen or should I pick the 2nd gen? It's going to be a gaming rig mostly.
Yes, that is a good player, but only if you are not playing High Definition videos. For HD I recommend Media Player Classic Home Cinema(its performance is way superior).
any thing that has come out in the past 6 months to a year from each company should provide a gain in performance... I was looking at the egg and it seems that the HD4850 costs about 160-200. for that price you could get a Evga 260GTX or 9800+ GTX... I think they would be by far the better upgrade
Thanks.[:D] I'll go for one of those then.
Thanks to you all for those replies.[:D] I currently own a 8800GT and i was thinking of getting a HD4850 to upgrade, but after checking that chart you gave me Der Meister, i believe its not such a big difference in comparison with my 8800GT. I guess ill consider other vid card to upgrade. Any suggestions?
Hi! [:)] Im wondering which of these cards is better performance wise. May any1 tell me?[:P]
OK, thanks to you both[:D] I'll go for the 9800GTX then[;)]
Hi! Im interested in upgrading my pc, but im not sure what will be better for my gaming rig: a 9800GTX or a Q6600(with compatible motherboard)?[^o)]
