hey marco, can you set up a practice server for fun? so that people can tone in on their skills beforing being lunged into an intense dm competation? i wont be able to play since my rig is down. perhaps not that many people would want to practice.... but it would be a nice option to have. perhaps set up a poll to guage demand?

suing facebook for cyber bullying is like suing the goverment for getting a roach in your hamburger. your case is very minimal, and you arent really suing the right people

Topic: Will Android Surpass the iPhone by 2012?   Go to last post

android is cheaper than iphone anyway.

also, this is quite reasonable since we arent talking about one specific phone surpassing the iphone, but a group of phones. eventually there might be 10,20, or 30 android models and that will mean more people will buy them, on different networks, and different costs (and features).

seems rather pointless to me, a post it note can do just as much and costs under a penny. my friend died recently, and her parents used the facebook account as a sort of memorial. the concept is there, its just that post it notes are easier and cheaper. perhaps if they added something really unique and interesting....

i think its selling fairly well, judging by the amount of people i see using them on campus. this is some good news, my mom is looking at getting a new phone and plan, perhaps i can talk her into getting the g1... probably not, but its one step closer.

Topic: How to Get Fired, Facebook-Style   Go to last post

i see it from both sides. on one hand, the employer is right that people shouldnt talk bad about the company (employer) and just expect to get away with it. even if it is on facebook, if you represent a company and then go around saying how bad the company is, that is a good enough reason to get fired. HOWEVER this is a 16 year old, and her job was just a meaningless office job. she didnt say anything too bad about the company. imo, the employer over reacted a bit, but is right. if you complain about the job, and how much you dont like it, dont be sad if you get fired. but this is a teenage, and what teenager wouldnt complain about a job? he should of just talked to the girl and told her that such behavior is not acceptable and perhaps given her a slap on the wrist (figuratively).

about the comment how the company is sneaky, looking into personal buisness, it was said that she showed her facebook page to co-workers. the employer didnt go around poking through her privacy, she showed it around and word got out.

not your fault at all bob, sometimes stuff happens. im just very, very, happy my college lends out laptops, and has LOADS of computers you can use on campus. otherwise id be failing most of my classes.

im going to give it till around tuesday, to see if i can get a reply from diamond/sc about getting shipping waived. if not i guess ill just have to spend the money. (now im rma'ing a 3870x2 which is a pretty good card, but what if a a 3200, or some low end card broke.... it would just not be economically wise to rma at all.... ). i hope im not coming off as [censored]y about complaining about shipping (and response time).

that much i understand marco :-) problem is how well a card can handle it. some cards may produce grain, or poor color saturation, etc... also theres 2 different digital tuner types i believe?
