An average temperature doesn't really have a meaning, different CPUs dissipate different amounts of heat, the temps I posted before are for an Athlon 64 2800, my Athlon thunderbird idles at 50 degrees, full load at about 58. The only times you can really compare temps is with the same CPUs and preferably the same chipsets

that is why I want pplz to post so that someone with similar or same settings could know if they have a higher or lower temps than the other person

Well guys, I see lot of pplz are asking and wondering how to cool the chips. By inputting everyones temps with thier specs, then they should know that they are higher or lower than the average temps.
I have my Barton 3200 at stock and the temps are 37C and 48C on load. I never turn off the computer just do some restarts after installing and uninstalling programs.

hey guys, I recently bought a ATI x800 Pro. I don't see any difference at all. Mabe I need to format the damn computer to see if it helps any. As usual I'm still lagging like crazy. I positive I have my computer program settings at where it should be. Oh well, my next thing to do is just leave this computer the way it is and get me a new one. Mabe a P4 D 3.4 HT hope that would be a fun build. By the way, I'm working on building two P4 D 2.8 and a 3.0 hope that clocks well. It's not my computer but I'd have the fun of OCing it like crazy hahah.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a hard drive over 300 GB, the thing is I don't want to pay more than $120 for it but again, I don't want something that's gonna die on me. The question I'm asking right now is that I'm thinking of a Maxtor Diamond 10 300GB 16MB cache. I can get it for about $119. And I'm planning on adding it to a external usb mounting case. That way, I don't end up paying $199 or more for a 300GB USB2 harddrive. Let me know if anyone have seen a great harddrive price on the net.

Going for a mid range card like a 6600GT and 512MB RAM would improve your gaming performance 10 fold. OH and if you can find yourself a cheap 9800 Pro then get one, there's not point dropping a lot of cash on a card at this stage.

Hmm the thing is I lag period as in not in game. I haven't played CS (only game I ever play) for about 4months now. Tell me what you think. Even right now, I'm typing and the words come after I'm done typing.

Thanks for the info Jordan, My graphic card is Radeon 9200. I think it's all the softwares I have on my comp that's lagging me but I don't know. I currently leave my comp on for 24/7 since I'm busy downloading lol. Well, if you guys think it's the graphic card then I might buy the new Radeon (very Expensive one) and test it out and see if it lags or not.
Thanks again for the helps and keep on posting if you have any other suggestions.

I always wanted to get me a liquid cooling system for the heck of it lol
