Thank you all for your opinions.
I have decided just to stick with my current hardware and in the future save up for one big bundle

Either a Raptor HardDrive 74GB with 10k RPM

a Motherboard + CPU combination, I was looking at some websites (Please refer me to some other websites in CANADA too please because I am looking at Tigerdirect.ca and I'm not sure if there are any other stores that are better in Canada) and I saw this one combination... Asus K8V SE Deluxe Socket 754 ...lon 64 3700+ Processor ... which supposedly I hear is good.

My current settings are:

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
Chipset: Intel i865PE
Physical Memory: Corsair 2x 512 DDR-SDRAM PC3200 @ 200MHz - Although I believe it's Dual Channel)
Video Card: ATi Radeon 9800 Pro (R350)
Hard Disk: Maxtor 6Y120L0 (123 GB)
Network Card: I don't think this matters, but it's a Realtek or something
Operating System: Windows XP Professional
DirectX: 9.0c
Motherboard: MSi 865PE Neo2

What bugs me is that the newest video cards coming out are using PCI Express, see if I bought one of those I'd need to get a new video card too and that will cost a megaload...

I am into the latest gaming also so keep that in mind

See now, If I get the HardDrive, will my current computer be able to handle it? My motherboard box says these exact words:

- Supports 2 Serial ATA
- RAID 0, RAID 1 is supported

... I hope I got that right, and ALSO I remember this cable for Serial ATA coming along with my motherboard but I somehow lost it, will this Raptor HardDrive come with a new one? Or will I have to buy a new one?

If I choose not to get the HardDrive and get the Motherboard & CPU, does my computer fit the needs of its standards? Please I hope you looked at the link I provided and understand what exactly it is..

Thank you for your time of reading my long boring post I hope you can really help me out and please, ask me questions if you need to so you can understand about my problem, thank you once again.

I checked the Memory section. It says Performance mode: Disabled. Is that normal? Or if not, and it's safe to put it in Performance mode, where is this option?
