this is a Be Quiet Silent base 800 (windowless version)
i cant find the pics of how to but its easy
You need a jigsaw with a metal blade, drill (metal bit), masking tape (blue), and a file, plexi (acrylic!!!) glass, dbl sided tape not to thick, but very sticky, exacto or sharp box cutter,
put the blue tape over the area you will be cutting out (basically the whole side panel)
use a marker and trace the window shape, drill on the inside of the line ( with a bit large enough to then get the jigsaw bit in)
take your time, cut the window out with the jigsaw. It helps to have a heft/sturdy cardboard box to cut on.. like the case box
once its cut out, file the edges so you dont cut your hands wide open!!! BE CAREFUL, WEAR GLOVES!!
measure the opening and using an exacto knife/box cutter... score the plexi a few times. Then snap it off... you can also cut the plexi with the right circular saw/blade (and other methods - google)
use the sticky tape in a few places... and stick it on! (this is why you dont want thick tape... it will sit away from the panel too far)
the "frosted" look is actually frosted privacy window film cut to the shape. Sticks on and can be peeled off! like $20 at home depot!
Do a search for "PC Window Kit"
There are a few different kits out there that already have (almost) everything you need. And there are multiple articles and videos out there that give you some step by step guidance.
yes. my case
Its done with privacy window film! i can just peel it off if i want :)
