Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to fix this update so it will install? I am seeing that a lot of users are having trouble with it.

I haven't had any issues with mine, I have had the update since the 18th of this month. Though I did do a clean install of windows on my PC so that might be what helped the problem. But im sure they will fix it soon enough. If you really want to play around with it try reverting to a previous state of windows from before the update failure. Though you could loose some data.

you are not by chance a pilot as well? as your name suggests

Hi Der Meister

Thank you for your suggestions I did however do a clean install because I was having a problem I can't remember what. I would rather do a clean install anyway computer runs better that way.

Yes I was a pilot flew for 10 years part time. Biggest plane I flew was a Navajo. That is a piston twin with a 6000 lb. gross weight. Was a Flight Instructor, and I also did charters and cargo mostly Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba and a little into the US. Been as far a Nevada. Reno to be exact.

thanks 1 user thanked pilot for this useful post.

Glad you got it working.

Cool I am a pilot myself; ATP CFI/II/MEI all that good stuff. I currently fly for an airline, PC's are one of my many side hobbies.
