If anyone remembers HH's post via facebook or here about a string of Arabic text that crashes your messaging app, there is a solution, it's an interesting one, but no offense I'm just glad I am not am Apple user heh :/.

Seems like a decent workaround, I've also read that you can set your message to not alert on unknown senders and that would work around the issue as well. I've set mine up that way just to try and avoid the issue.

Maybe there needs to be a way to censor messages, so a phone could filter out spam, cussing, and the crash message

Not everyone in the world has any of this immidiate news. It's good to see HH posting the fixes too on the discussion app / FB. Just because you know how something works doesn't constitute it as common knowledge. HH had a nice short and simple temp. solution post.

I'm sure very soon Apple will have an update fix.

Wasn't there an update that fixed this already?
