I used to also play games with some people that ran 32gigs of RAM and there were almost no differences is performance vs my 4gigs. My example is based off of playing several MMO RPGs such as EQ, EQ2, Rift, Aion, Warhammer Online, SWTOR, and some WoW.
I hope the day never comes that says "min req specs. - 64gb RAM" lol. So much RAM :(((
A lot of systems out of the box come with 16gb RAM as what looks like to be a pretty normal standard. Grantid there are plenty of systems with 4 to 8, there is just no reason to get more than 16gb for sure. 32 is great and all, but too expensive in reality.
64gb=Just about anything.
Actually, (lore bunny time) there is a difference. The more RAM you have on a 64bit system, the better the PC runs. With 32gbs, you can run multiple high resource value programs than you could have with 4gbs. You would also notice a quick boot time of programs and the PC itself. So you know, 64gb is better that 4gb, just a little overkill though.
