We think NVIDIA's G-SYNC technology holds a lot of promise for gamers, though availability is a bit scarce at the moment, with just a few panels supporting the feature. Go ahead and add AOC's G24060PG 24-inch gaming monitor to the mix. AOC's newest display implements G-SYNC technology, which works with supported GeForce GPUs to synchronize the display refresh rate.

Why does it matter? Taking advantage of G-SYNC technology essentially eliminates screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag. And what all that translates into is a smoother gaming experience with less ghosting and other unwanted artifacts related to sync issues.

AOC G2460PG

The AOC G24060PG pumps out the action with a 144Hz refresh rate at just 1ms -- say goodbye to blur. It also features a Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, and 170-degree horizontal / 160-degree vertical viewing angles.

Connectivity consists of a DisplayPort 1.2, two USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports with a charger. The monitor also boasts a Kensington security slot.

AOC Monitor

As for ergonomics, the monitor's stand supports tilt, pivot, swivel, and height adjustments. Alternately, you can ditch the stand and mount the panel to your wall (it's VESA 100mm wall mount compliant).

The AOC G24060PG will be stocked soon at Micro Center for $450.

Good question. I've never used them before either. Decent specs though.
