nvidia have wrong drivers
Go Nvidia! I was just running 3DMark this morning. But Microsoft needs to do something sooner than "Late 2015" with Direct-X 12, maybe 11.5 or something.
Yeah they need to beef it up
the new GeForce experience also offers remote login for shield.
I just ran 3DMark again and with no tweaking this driver beat my best recorded score!Time to jump in Titanfall! ;)
Shield Update rolling out now!!!!
aww Wish I can join you on Titanfall but I cant -.- FPS would be like -0
Microsoft will almost certainly time the release of a new DirectX against the release of a new version of Windows. If they split the two, I expect the new Windows to come first. The fact that they have not confirmed support for Windows 7 or even Windows 8 / 8.1 is additional evidence that this point is under discussion.
It's not hard to see why. If DX12 offers even a 10% gain in supported titles vs. DX11, then MS can position Windows 9 (or whatever they eventually call it) as offering a real increase in 3D performance. It's been a long time since they were able to do that; DX10 was slower than DX9, while most of the benefits of moving to XP over 98SE were related to stability. Windows 7 brought better SLI performance and >2-way GPU configuration support, but didn't offer big gains over Vista or XP in most 3D titles.
Are they adding anything toward these items in the Beta drivers being released today? there's supposedly a huge increase to games from these beta drivers.
The article discusses this.
