I need help HH Family! While updating the video driver, the screen was clear I assumed it was finished and went to enable SLI and hit apply just before the installation restart dialog popped up. I let it restart and now ever sense then there's no SLI, just the spanning option. I tired DDU, re-seating the cards, ran with one card for a while and tried again, updated the mobo to the latest bios.

hmm... I think there is an option in the bios for SLI? Have you checked that?
maybe DDU again.. shut down. pull one card.. boot. let windows install the basic driver. shut down. put the other card in, add the bridge.
boot... then re-install the nvidia drivers. reboot.
if the cards are seated, and the bridge is good etc... it has to be a driver issue.
There's no SLI related options in the bios. I've tried that with no success and after looking up the problem, one person used HyperSLI, but that shouldn't be necessary for my mobo which has ran with SLI for the last year or so.
no, you shouldnt need anything else to make it work. thats really an odd one. I dug around some and only found that updating the bios and gpu drivers would fix it!
what if you uninstall the drivers.. remove one card.. install the drivers..reflash the bios.. then pop card two in?
what a pain!
also: have you contacted Gigabyte?
No I haven't but judging by their forums, they won't be much help.
Flashed to latest mobo firmware, left one card in for a couple days. I put the second one back and now it's working! [8-|]
