Just wanted some opinions

I f you could only have one camera would you rather have a big bulky DSLR that does everything well or a Compact system camera that takes great shots and is small and easy to cary around all day?.

I think it depends on your application,

For DSLR's the Rebel T4i can be found $650 but a compact camera system can be found for around $200 less.|
(The T3, T3i can also be found for even less)

Price, quality and purpose of content are all things to consider.

If you really want the best quality, DSLR, but if you're more concerned with portability and price I'd go with a compact camera
