Well I did it again..bought another console[8-)]

anyone here fold on their ps3?

I am gonna be taking it easy on folding because of the extra power i'm using on heat, but I was just curious as to how many PPD a ps3 can get, and how the clients are installed.

thanks

the clients are installed off the main menu, From what I can gather the cell does a fairly good job at folding. I have dont it once or twice with mine. But I dont want to leave it on all the time.

Good point, I'd imagine it would be quite the space heater, and probably would shorten the life of the console.

My gen 1 is going strong still. Its 3 years old and I just put a 500WD black in it for GT5...

I didn't know you could do that, did you void your warranty?  GT5 was my sole reason for buying the ps3 :)

No - it doesn't void the warranty.  The first PS3's came with instructions on upgrading the drive (accessible via the left side).

I've folded once or twice on my PS3, but didn't want to leave it on all the time either.   I doubt I could even use it for folding nowadays, since I refuse to accept the firmware upgrade that would remove Linux and therefore can't do a lot of on-line stuff with it anymore.

When the PS3

launched, the 360 was the system with

more, better games, and the

better onlinestrategy.[8-|]
