In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we thought it would be fun to give away yet another awesome gaming system! In conjunction with our good friends at CyberPower PC, with support from Thermaltake, Gigabyte, Kingston, XtremeGear, and Sapphire, we’ve put together a killer rig to give away to celebrate Valentine's Day! This time around, you could win a full Intel Core i7-based system, complete with a Radeon HD 5870 pushing the pixels, a Kingston SSD, and an awesome, Thermaltake Element-S case.

We promise this machine will be great for all of the gamers out there! And it could be all yours! As we've done with previous sweepstakes, we’ll be giving away this rig away to a randomly selected contributor to

From this point forward, we’ll be monitoring discussions here in the news and in the forum.  We will be randomly selecting a winner based on community involvement and contribution. You can also increase your chances of winning by signing up for our
HotHardware RSS News Alerts or becoming a fan of HotHardware via our respective Facebook or Twitter pages. And it couldn't hurt to become a fan of the CyberPower PC Facebook page either! The contest will run through the middle of next month, and we'll announce the winner on March 15, 2010.

This is a great chance for to you to win a custom, ultra powerful new system. Now go make some new friends in the forum

Here we go again. Time for another exciting battle for a beautiful system. The SSD alone looks so tempting to have, and the rest of the system is just wonderful, good combination of hardware. Cyberpower put together a nice system!

This would be a great solution to my kids arguing about who's turn it is on their computer. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :)

Sigh!.  Wish I could afford something even HALF as decent as this.  I'm still using a hand me down AMD socket 939 rig with a single core Athlon 64 4000+ and 2 gigs of ram.  And as luck would have it, it got phased out several months back and parts have shot through the roof, if you can find them at all.

Now I'm torn between i5 or Phenom II X4 and blasted Athlon II X4.

Been so satisfied with my old rig I never paid any attention to the cpu wars much.  And now i regret it.

Anyone care to help a fella out and throw together a super budget 'game' rig for $500?  Priorities are future proofing upgradability, so cpu, mobo, vga, and memory are main focus.  Everything else can be ignored so that should help.  HDD/ case, psu, etc can trickle in later.

Oh, I'm new here too so hi everyone.
