Has anyone tried their latest benchmark yet? What are your thoughts?

I want to give it a shot, but my computer is having problems at the moment. Sucks that the basic trial version is one-time use only.

It's a pity though it is Vista only!

Can it be run with a DX 9.0 card?

It is Vista only because it is specifically a DX10 benchmark. So it won't run on a DX9.0 card.

Look at the "display card" under minimum requirements.

The 3DMark Vantage put my computer to shame. :( I only got around 5700 points for the tests.

You did way better then me. Graphics memory is a big factor in this test. My overall score was only 3676 :(

 

CPU had a 4574 and the GPU had a 3450.

 

 

I'll do the test again when i get my board back this weekend.

I got a copy of Vantage see how it works out on my Rig when I get it built! Requirments are pretty hefty!

Publishers Recommended System

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or equivalent AMD CPU.

Display Card: Fully D3D10/SM4.0 compliant graphics card, 512MB

Memory: 2048MB

Free Disk Space: 2GB

 Im looking forward to trying out this new version to 3dmark apparently its already good for the new 280 and 260 cards.
