Am I overclocking?
I'm trying to figure this out. I'm much of a NOOB, but I think I understand what's going on. I have an Intel Pentium D Dual Core 930. I think it says it's bus speed is 200MHZ and It's FSB(Front Bus Speed?) is 800MHZ? I dunno. In any-case. This means that I should run my RAM at 200MHZ? I currently set my DRAM Frequency @ 266MHZ though. Am I overclocking? I'm using a Kingston PC2-4200 533MHZ DDR2 1GB RAM stick on one slot KVR533D2/1GR. How can I tell if I'm overclocking. I've run countless tests, but am unsure how to read them. My MOBO is a PCCHIPS P23G V1.0.
Is this is the case, you really need to read upa bit before you do anything to your system as far as overclocking goes....there are tons of How-to's out there and even one here at HH Check 'er out
Google or yahoo search for cpu-z, it's free to download & easy to understand!
