I mean I wouldnt challenge their bar brawl superiority although I am Irish however I would like to know how beating them at soccer is that big a deal. I would also like to know how losing at a soccer game makes someone a [censored].

note that I have never played or watched soccer, but I have never went up to someone and said, Ok you wanna show your a bad ass, play me at a game of soccer. I mean I dont see how losing is a big deal.

No its the Ashes. Basically a test series between Australia and England and the winner holds the Urn that contains the ashes of the bails that were used in the first series played between the teams.

The World Cup is 1 day cricket involving all national teams, where as the Ashes is up to 5 days of unlimited over cricket with just Eng and Aussies.
