Well I don't follow the V8 season as I ain't in australia.

However in British Touring Cars its got to be the Honda Civic Type-R. Dunno y but I love the car. Also the normal ones you can buy are a ricers dream.

Bike wise its either a Ducati 998R, Honda Fireblade (1000cc) or the "killer" Yamaha R1. A while ago a kid "young person" got wiped off the earth by an R1. I see one every day near my college (its f00king hot bike!)

Vauxhall Corsas only came at a maximum of 1.6litre as standard, but a chap that I know put a 2.5l v6 in it along with a meaty turbo and a squirt of NOS.

Needless to say, on his first track day, he crapped all over a Nissan Skyline, Sierra Cosworth and a Ford Focus RS Turbo.

He only got beat by some crazy little red kit car thingy, which did 3 runs then blew a tyre!

i loved the old school GTO as well... but those HP numbers back then were measured differently then they are now. A stock 98+ LS1 camaro/firebird with "320" HP will walk all over those old GTO's and camaros stock for stock

and I like my V6, though it is supercharged

but my fav V8 has got to be that huge ass hemi, that old 426 was bad ass stock and really crazy with some goodies

Oh yeah, and you could watch the gas gauge fall as you drove. Those were the days, fast cars and $0.40 per gallon gas prices .

My best friend use to have a hemi in his old ford mavric. That thing was a monster with a big blower on it.

Personnally my fav car is the RX-8, but my fav engine is the chevy 505 Fireball. Awwww, 640 horses and 680 foot/pounds torque. They can teach Dodge a thing or two about big iron.

I've always been a fan of that 455 in the 70's trans-ams. If I had the spare money to get a project car, that'd be my choice right there, no doubt. blwon 455 with lots of mods, or maybe I'd drop in one of those 505cids...*drools*

Well i dont really keep up with this stuff, but the mechanic that my dad and i have used if we couldnt fix the problem ourselves put a 454hp v8 into a ford falcon. It was hilarious, he could be in third going 70mph and floor it and spin the rear tiers for half a mile.
Hey Eg i think that you mean Charger, not challenger

There was a Dodge Challenger that came out about the same time as the Dodge Charger...Roadrunner, Dart, and even a Dodge Demon that got alot of flak because of it's name...all attempts to eat into the Mustang market.

My friend has a Challenger with a 360 and a nice blower. Yeah Dodge, had a lot of cars that came out at the same time, some of the with some of the (imo) coolest car names of all time, like the demon.
