The Athlon 3200+ looks like to be a major Intel [censored] kicker

http://www.tbreak.com/forums/sh...read.php?&threadid=19317

I hope those benchies and overclocking scores will be the lowest

ye all should read up on the anandtech forums and responces to that article.
Dont count your chickens before they hatch me ladies!!
These are still unoffical benchies....There like..."what it might be like"!!
Its not what it is....plus your comparing a P4 to next generation AMD.
A fair and only justified comparison, shall be when the Presscott comes out....with 1MB L2 cache and 100W+ of POWER! Yeah, baby.. cpu AND egg boiler!!!
but we cant do that now....so wait before ye all go out and buy AMD.

There has been a big delay on this cpu so i hope AMD can make it good this time.

Pretty much all new High End processors are expensive when they come out...I remember the P4 3.2GHz was at $700:eek: when it came out.

Just wait till the price go down...Unless your hungry for power

well now that we're starting to see some benchies, now the only question is, when the hell can I buy the thing? If it's available in October I'd be surprised.

It'll probably available by at stores in November...unless you pre-order yours now

Ill wait 6 months before getting one...hopefully by then I got better choices of motherboards and cheaper CPU's...

It hurts to pay 600 bucks then youll just see it under $300 after 3 months later ..ouch
