I'm not surprised Win 10 tried to do that, I have heard so many horror stories about it, seems like the only good thing about it is Cortana if your a Halo fan, but I like so many others wouldn't take Win 10 if you gave it to me and apparently MS can't even give it away!

I never give that either, on mobile or in browsers. Using Waldo is a clever way to play with the idea. That comic has a Far Sidey kind of vibe.

it has been one of the fastest adopted OSs they have released. And its damn good. It has its fair share of issues like any other OS but i have had no complaints at all. It boots in seconds, yes SSD + win 10 is about 7 seconds cold boot to desktop (and you can launch an app at that point, not still wait)

Whats wrong with bing? (besides the name! lol) - i use it most of the time simply because they PAY you. Points for using it gets you free stuff. I have 200GB of cloud (oneDrive) until 2018 for free.

They all do it and Im not smuggling drugs so not worried about it.

As for Bing I weened myself off Google accidentally. I didn't realize I did it but how it happened I was close to getting a $5.00 off Amazon gift card. So what its only $5.00 but my work rewards people with points you can trade for Amazon gift cards as well and I got into the DIY scene so I started buying a lot of tools and add ons and $5.00 isn't much but its another Tape Measure, jig saw blades, part CNC carve bits, etc and kind of fun to get a freebie for reading a lot of what they offer up as news suggestions. Now I'm averaging about $60.00 a year for using Bing and I actually like it. The search results work and last month I realized I haven't used google in a while. Sure Google is still aware of what I do I use Chrome from time to time and my phone is Android but what the heck. Not paranoid. With Google maps tracking me If there is ever a crime I got an alibi to where I was especially since I cant remember where I was yesterday.

I've been experimenting with an app called Glympse to share my location with folks on different social networks and devices when a group is getting together. it has worked out well. You use the app to send a GPS string for your phone which you can expire right after the meeting, and you do not need to be on any social network to do it you can send the link via text or email.
