Obviously there are reasons why some more are more partial to AMD processors over Intel, I'm interested in knowing what those reasons are and if you were an Intel fan what make you switch?
Thanks

I don't prefer one over the other normally. It is all based on what you want to do. AMD processors are geared toward budget builds and strict gamers. Intel processors are geared toward enthusiast builds and content creators. Intel's hyperthreading helps to render videos, make edits to photos and record/encode videos at once. AMD, although not so great thermals, can game decently with a good setup all around. It all just depends on your personal plan for the processor.

I have to say I really like both of them they both have there pros and cons. Its like if you have enough money for good GPU or CPU which are you going to pick most people go with the big Gpu then go with the AMD cpu because cant beat the performance for the price, but then you have to look at Intel's quad core I5 its about same price for higher end AMD ones so all depends. But I would have to say I have Intel at this point for my rig so I well have to say I lean more to Intel.

All depends on what you plan to do with the CPU.
