is there any linux based OS out there that is almost as easy as operating a windows OS?

ive tried ubuntu before but the commands and all that code like typing thing doesnt really apeal to me . installing stuff is a chore unlike windows, you just run the set up or click and executable file. would love to know. thanks.

i like linux as a utility OS not a gaming OS though. when the vulkan api comes out and is utilized by the game developers i woudnt mind having linux OS as a main OS. linux is free and solid but not very user friendly.

Android is Linux based. Mac OS shares some roots with Linux (Unix). Most streaming boxes (like roku) are linux based. Many NAS devices are linux based. There are numerous Linux OS's out there that are user friendly and you can even game on them. It is also in many enterprise solutions.

Linux is incredibly flexible and is as user friendly or un-friendly as the programmer makes it.
