Suggestion: Maybe the admins can lock or delete old, dead threads. This would only be to clean up the forums. Think of it as washing a rusty car. You may get rid of some rust, but the end goal is to remove all the dirt. The rust has to be removed by a different method.

I don't know; anybody can contribute at any time with new information. If we lock all the dead threads than people will just create new threads for new information about the same subject. In addition I see forums as a source of information so to detract attention from past threads information would be a shame.

Just my 2 cents.

Ehh, I don't see why they should lock or delete. As AKwyn had said new info can pop up in older discussions. Being able to look back at stuff I may have missed is nice too.

Years from now, Blackhawk8100, your posts won't be any less important (or rusty) than when you first posted them. Would you really want them to be locked or deleted?

agreed, you never know when reviving an old thread can start a whole new discussion...

If anything, I would not mind if the sections were reduced. It seems to me like there are too many to choose from.

Fine, but maybe archive some things? Talking about a phone or program from 7 years ago is no longer neccesary or current :P Stow away stuff in a certain are of the forums :P
