That isn't true at all! First off a lot more than 327 iPhone 6 Plus users out there don't use a case and so far they are ok. Most cases for cellphones are made of soft supple and bendable material none of which would protect your phone from bending short of having a massive case like an OtterBox or a Mophie JuicePak Air. Also I am sick and tired of uneducated people that say using a case 'defeats the purpose of having a thin, metal, expensive phone blah blah blah blah blah" shut it already!!!!!!! Everyone uses a case for anything they care about! When I had a Palm Treo back in 2008 it was easily 3x thicker than an iPhone 6 and guess what I HAD A SILICONE CASE FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't matter how thin and thick a device is, it doesn't matter what materials it is made out of, or how durable it is, people are going to still buy cases and other products that protect their devices. So if many MANY people are going to use a case regardless of how thick a product is that it is still beneficial to make devices smaller. Jesus.
