If I update to join the program will I get to keep windows 10? Or will I have to reinstall windows 8.1 after program ends?
Well they haven't rolled this out to European users yet as when I choose check for updates it says no updates are available
I'm running windows 10 as my main OS at work. I do like the improvements so far. As an OS windows 8.1 is already a great OS in terms of speed and function so as a core OS I rather like it.
As for the UI the improvements are very nicely done, it just looks a lot sharper and more classy if you could understand my meaning. Boarders around any windows are much thinner which made a real difference. The start menu is back and can be customized. Notifications is a nice touch although does look like it could get some visual improvements, something about it, idk maybe some color or transparency.
The poppy feel of apps when they open doesnt feel quite right, something about its idk what it is. Maybe need to be a little smoother.
Other then that liking it so far.
No. Windows 10 is better than 7 and nothing like Windows 8. Move on.
Word is that it will be a free upgrade to Win-8 users. So you can use it until it's released, and probably have to reload the release version then.

Using it since it was released, Win-10 Is good, but Win-7 is awesome.
I know that Win-10 is a work in progress, and I think that it will fly like Win-8 never did.
I like that Win-10 preview is being run with an open mind, and open ears. Once the huge Balmer ego was gone, things began to improve at MS.
