After 10 years, it'll be obsolete... you won't even touch it for 10 cents then.
Several A/V sites have already done in depth reviews of curved screens. What it boils down to is that unless you sit at the optimal distance and directly center with the screen then you lose picture quality (and actually some parts of the picture if off center).
Sitting to close exagerates the sides, sitting to far exagerates the middle, and sitting off to the side makes that side of the screen compress or even disappear.
So for your man cave where you can set the TV just the right distance and directly in line with your chair you are good. In your living room where distance and angle will change based on where you are sitting or standing, you are much better off with a flat TV.
Damn that price tag, I think I'll wait till curved screens become more common and the price drops to a mainstream price
Even if I could afford this (which I can't) I couldn't find room for it in my house. I would have to move all of my furniture out and sit on the floor. Crazy.
Just get three projectors/screens and curve it for the same experience for only about $2000, not to mention large than 105 inches.

Oh man! That's expensive for a TV Im gonna stick with mine.. and anyways were will i put it i won't even make it to the living room without getting snagged.
Helluva a TV... But you could buy a house, or a really good car for 120k... Holy shit. 4k TV prices are dropping fast though. I think within a few years no one will use 1080p or 720p, but instead 1440p and 2160p(4k), so obviously a TV like this would no longer cost an absurd price, but more around 1k-10k.
I agree that in ten years it will be obsolete. THEN I WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD ONE! HOORAY! :)
I don't understand the appeal to curved televisions. They just seem super gimmicky fad. Anyone care to enlighten me if I'm missing something? :)
Curved makes a lot of sense when the viewing space is huge! When it comes to 105', a curved screen will give you a much more immersive viewing experience. There is a reason why most movie halls still use curved screens!
