I was wondering... How can I connect my PC to my outdoor speakers? I think i would need an amp, but what else?

A connector that takes the audio port on you PC an Converts it into whatever connecrot you need to imput into the speakers/ or amp/ or home theater box.

depending on the distance and power of the speakers would determine whether you need an amp or not. Are the outside speakers connected to an audio system now? If so you could just do a line out from the pc to that audio system.

Yeah, they are connected to an older  cd player/fm-am tuner, along its own speakers, and speakers down in the basement. Right now i am running them off a three way switch, but it would be nice to hook the pc up to it. I just would like to know the best connection from the pc to the cd player.
