I don't see this as a big deal. I helped a friend remove the camera from his phone a while back because it's not good enough to just have it off at his work. So for him to have his personal phone at work we had to take out the actual camera module. It's a pretty normal corporate mindset.
I am surprised this "news" made it here on DT. All other recording devices are already banned in boardrooms including cell phone, why would glass be any exception.
