Hi All, I built a new rig, I have a 64 gig SSD, and a  1 TB Caviar Black.  Issue is, I only want the OS on SSD, But every time I put a new program in, I can't seem to get it to go directly to the 1 TB.

How do you tell Win7 to stop trying to put every thing in SSD.  and put it in my 1TB.

Thanks, Gary

You can do that, this webpage will tell you how to do it.

You can also move the My Documents and other folders by creating new folders in the other hard drive, right clicking on each of the respective folders in your "C;\Users\yourusernamehere" folder and changing the location of them to the folders that you've created.

Hope this helps!

you need to do a custom install on all the programs and change the destination drive. from C:\ to D:\
