In the same way that people "view" AT&T in one sort of light, people tend to "view" Sprint in another. Sprint is oftentimes seen as the "laggard" of the bunch when it comes to viewing the major U.S. cell phone operators, regardless of whether or not that's legitimate. But the company has done a lot over the past few months to turn things around. For starters, the "Simply Everything" plan cannot be beat, and the smartphone selection is second to none (or Apple, if you really need the iPhone).



Now, Sprint is topping all others with a knock-out money-back guarantee that is tops in the industry right now. In order to give potential customers a chance to really try out the Sprint netword, despite what they've heard, users will be able to test drive their service for a full 30 days with any penalties if they aren't satisfied. Honestly, we can't find any strings attached. Listen to this:

Beginning tomorrow, the Sprint Free Guarantee gives any customer opening a new line of service the chance to try Sprint for 30 days. If a customer isn’t completely satisfied, they can get reimbursed for the device purchase and activation fee, get the early termination fee waived, get a full refund for service plan monthly recurring charges incurred and get all associated taxes and Sprint surcharges associated with these charges waived. Their 'unlimited everything' plan - would that still be valid with a tethered device, or does doing such a thing invalidate it?


It's a shame Canadian carriers can't produce anything as good. If you aren't getting screwed by Rogers, you're getting screwed by Telus. If you aren't getting screwed by Telus, you're getting screwed by Bell.

I've been on Sprint for 10 years now. In the past, they were focused on biz service and plans. But over the last several years they have been making more and more of a focus on private customers, service, and technology.


They have provided excellent customer service to me on every occasion I needed it, they have a great selection of phones, I get better voice/data then all the people on AT&T (in Louisiana, Washington State, and Florida) I know, and their prices are by far the best.


They are also the first to roll out 4G and will have a large chunk of it done before the other carriers start. In fact, they should be completely on 4G before AT&T even begins rolling 4G out.


Since I have to use a national carrier (always moving), my acceptable choices are down to Verizon and Sprint. AT&T is way to expensive and falling behind in technology. T-mobile I just never liked (x-wife had them before we got married).

Yeah infinity I have it set to notify me when the release that new HTC ( called an EVO there, but from what I can tell it looks like the Supersonic). There price plan was already above anyone else, now with a full money back 30 days how can you beat it. Not to mention the phone is absolutely awesome, and I supposedly have 4G service at home as well. So I am really, really considering dropping Verizon. My contract will be fully up next month, I am already able to grab an upgrade, but I think I am going to pull out and try them out!

Well, it's nice to see the competition finally catching up. But I am happy with my verizon plan, it's basically unlimited everything, and since we know the guy that works at the store he gives us a reduced price. But I understand that not everyone has that luxury. 


Anyway, I guess the only thing Sprint has over Verizon is the early service termination within 30 days. I'm stuck with my blackberry curve for 2 years, unless I break the contract, in which I have to pay extra.

Since I don't have a mobile phone, their plan is enticing but I don't know. I think I might go with T-Mobile.

Sprint seems to be making a conscious effort to win customers, I know in the past their service was ok at best. Money back guarantee though that is what I call putting your money where your mouth is!!!! Also you gotta love the quick 4G rollout. Who knows Sprint may be turning over a new leaf although I think I will stick with AT&t for now though.

I have nothing but good words toward Sprint. It's great in my area and until evo and and more hopefully come over to sprint the everything plan with Pre will due for me.

Every time I have checked in the past, the upgrade program has always included the full price of the phone. So when you want one like the HTC it is close to Three bills or maybe more.


I still only use it for calls. But if they provide the EVO at a reasonable price, then maybe the 70 a month might be worth it.


They do provide great service at the store and over the phone.

The sprint upgrade plan is $100 after one year, $200 after two. You can log onto Sprints website, call customer service, or go to a Sprint store to check if your there yet.


The Sprint of old that a lot of people disliked no longer exist. I was with them when their customer service sucked about 10 years ago. Trust me, it is not that way anymore. The company made a very large effort to improve and reach out to new customers. Pretty much they have been leading and everyone else following on new tech and offers the last few years.


Sprint Navigation is still the best, TV, radio, voice control/quick find, any moble to moble (network does not matter), 4G, cheapest/best featured unlimited plans, etc...

I've had a love-hate relationship for many a years with Sprint but I've never left. Customer service issues were the predominant complaint I've had. But during the whole time I've been with them, the amount of times I've had to deal with their employees is minimal to the remainder of my Sprint contract tenure.


All in all it's nice to see that they are at least trying to care for the customers better again and putting serious effort into maintaining a competitive environment among the other carriers. I can't wait to see Win7 phones on Sprint 4G.
