Don't count me into this one, because I happened to be a lucky winner of a system last year. I want to give others a chance to compete in this one. So good luck guys, and may one lucky winner win that beauty!
:) thanks for the luck! what system did you win? :D
Yeah I have worked in hardware since 1993 on the computer side and network side. I started on my own though (it was actually before all the certs etc existed), and want to move towards one of the three either system admin, network admin, or security/security-database admin.
cool i want to win this b/c this old computer i have i cant play any games only cs.1.6 and warcraft 3.
Yeah!!! Switch the GPU and this would make an awsome workstation :)
definitely my dream machine. I hope my dream can come true
same here. never won lottery prize beyond two dollars.
lol ddayjason I know the feeling although I actually won 6 dollars once. As far as it goes I have been trying to win on here for 2 years now, with no luck. I have seen many win though new and old members. So everyone has a good chance it is! I hope to win as I could use it, I love the components top to bottom, and it offers quite a good upgrade outlook over time not to mention the standing capabilities and build of it as is.
I never win and if you don't win don't feel so bad because CP rigs do come with some problems I'm a member on that board. It would be nice to test out the 5870 it is a very sweet card and who wouldn't want to win a system like this.
Well Firefox has a new theme layout called persona's. Here is the link to the king of all
I imagine this GPU would most likely take high end Fire Pro or Fire GL cards as I know people change them out. The easiest way to do so is find the one with the closest hardware, then install the driver for it, keep a default driver in a folder on your desk if it fails install it on the reboot.
I won this system with these specs over a year ago:
Quad-Core 9350e, 2.0GHz
Radeon HD 4670
LANBOX Lite VF6000BWS
Extreme Performance DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB (2x2GB)
Digital Caviar (WD6400AAKS) 640GB SATAII 7200 RPM 16MB Buffer
ETK500AWT Tomahawk 500W
GBC-H20L Blu-Ray / DVD
Nice :D (Hope i get lucky this time [;)])
Also i logged in to cyberpower's face book fan page and they have pics of the GREAT rig up! :D
Nice components pic's. This layout looks very nice, and one of the big things to me as you may have gathered from other posts is the 1366 chip socket along with the included features on the board. Tri-channel memory future compatibility etc.
I just want to clarify something: In the past I've promised, if I win a system here, to install a Unix variant onto it. Please be assured it will not be a North Korean Linux.
Interesting decision to not overclock the 920, though I guess the reality is that it's safer to let the winner do that.
