While I wasn't without a few complaints, I thought it rocked. Definitely worth seeing, and if you live near an IMAX theater....even better. I'll be seeing it again sometime this coming weekend.

I cant wait to see this having read the likes of Spartan and being a big Frank Miller fan. Got to say that the previews look superb.

Seen it and read the comic. Both are awesome, I read the comic first so the movie wasn't really that surprising. You gotta see both though!

First movie in a while that made me feel like I was actually fighting the enemies on the screen (and I wasn't even at the IMAX theatre). Great movie, defiinitly worth seeing it on the big-screen.

I would highly recommend it, it's one of (if not the best) movie right now in my opinion. Next one I'm waiting for is Hot Fuzz.

300 & Black Snake Moan are the 2 best movies out right now. I love the over the top way 300 was filmed and the violence and gore make it all come together. The characters are over the top which makes the story show off its graphic novel roots.

I actually thought this was a remake of "The 300 Spartans" [great old movie BTW] until I heard about Frank Miller's involvement.

I really want to see this movie, but I don't see it showing up in Iraq any time soon.

^^not a scratch on 'Shaun of the Dead', unfortunately, but it was okay. i think i'll just stick to Simon Pegg's older stuff: 'Spaced' and 'Big train'. Genius. i must say- without prejudice- we Brits are the best at comedy...

Loved? Does that mean it's out already or something or was that just a typing error?

It's a UK produced movie and it's been out over here for a little while.
