HEY, for those peeps that have had issues with starting down and restarting. I have a very Possible solution for you.

To make a long story short, i am on my 5th nic card ( network interface card, 10/100 ethernet card ).
had one that would not let the machine shut down, only restarted, had to hard close the machine so shut down. ouch... 2 of the same brand of cards would useually need to be reset, maybe 2 or 3 times, before it would initialize and boot up.
the puter just didnt like this brand of nic
one that was cheap n i didnt trust....nough said
and now finally, one i trust.. that starts, shuts down, and restarts properly. btw it was a cnet 10/100 card. but thats not to say this will work with everysystem either.

thought i would pass on this bit of experience. Just goes to show you, a computer is more like a women that we would care to admit....give it something it doesnt like,, not only are you going to have the headache, maybe for 7 to 10 days even ((llolol)) but, you aint gettin any either!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an Idiot triing to get a rageing system!
