i was thinking about upgrading my ram i have 512mb samsung on one computer and 256mb on the other and i was wondering if there would be a big difference with performancewith the highest speed ram they got on ocz and yes i like to overclock

1st Rig

CPU:AMD Athlon XP 1700+

Well......if you are going to be using the old memory with the new. There is no reason to get faster memory. Your computer will only overclock as fast as the old stick does. If you are going to replace the sticks with faster memory I recommend:

Corsair Memory XMS I would say is the best out there.
Samsung makes some of the most reliable memory.
OCZ I have heard some bad things about them. People returning bad ram. Also some of their video cards go bad.

OCZ has been nothing but good for me...I got 1 bad stick long time ago and they replaced it for me in 3 days....Surpurb RMA department!!
