Well, maybe don't ignore the laws of physics. But no need to realistic. What do wish someone would make?

I want a laptop that has both an LCD and an eink screen perhaps with a hinge like the 2013 Dell XPS 12 ferris wheel hinge or a swivel like the Lenovo Twist so you could easily switch between them. In times past I hoped screen techs like mirasol and pixel qi might make daylight use easier, and more recently I tried with some success Asus' super IPS+ (Which was really just a super bright screen attempting to outshine the sun), but the screen glare made it pretty intolerable. Being able to switch to eink at the park or out on the porch would be nice. Additionally, if travelling, relying on the eink even when it wasn't ideal could save a fair amount of battery life and reduce your reliance on a brick and finding outlets.

What's on your wish list?

a cheap well built laptop with a strong cpu and gpu. Basically something that will never happen.

realistically one that was well built and easy to swap parts. not like the ultra slim laptops we have these days. low glare screens would be nice as well.

Maybe 2 monitors on a laptop that slide out of each other? 😛

Not a bad idea. It's been designed repeatedly, Lenovo had one, but I'm not sure anyone ever put one on sale. There are usb powered panels people can clip on to their existing laptop and work with. You can check out the externals and protypes with a google images search of dual screen laptop.

I was thinking two monitors back to back, and you can fold it into a craptop or a tablet 😛

That's what I mentioned Lenovo designed, among others. I never saw them for sale, but you can see them with an images search. The lenovo one was called the w700ds

My ideal laptop would be a desktop replacement like the Asus C90S I have now, but it would be a tablet and it would play high end games but still have a replaceable CPU and GPU in case I wanted to upgrade it in the future, it would have a 20 hour+ battery life too.

20, eh? I hear you. Ya know someday one of these revolutionary battery techs they keep teasing us with is finally going to go into production and we can move past gradually improving lithium ion. Someday...

Or just leave the laptop plugged in xD

I like to go without the leash. There's a lot I'd sacrifice for long battery life.

How often do you move with your laptop?

For me, an inexpensive, well-built laptop with an up-to-date processor.

I also want to be able to easily (within reason) replace components.

I'm willing to sacrifice some weight for battery life.

Pretty sure what you'd want is near impossible.

No need to tease, BH. Reasonable ideas are welcome here too, mikey. It's like what Hobbes (the cat, not the person) would always say, wish for something attainable and you won't be disappointed.
