Hey guys! I am back after a temp hiatus. School has gone back in session and I am now learning Python! Woo!

I wanted to make note that I recently (like 2 weeks ago) got my contest prize and have set it up. Pictures coming soon (This weekend?)! Any interesting things happen whilst I was vanished? Let me know below!

So I got the thing, unboxed it, and it was AMAZING! I upgraded it to Win10, it isn't as snappy, so not something I'd recommend!

 The Box

The unboxed box of the Intel Compute Stick!

Looking good man! Surprised Win 10 was clunky on it. Can you roll back easily?

Nah, that can't be. Let me ping Marco. He probably knows how to bail out of this.

Windows 10 should run well on the Compute Stick--at least as well as 8.1. If you don't mind starting fresh, there are a couple of things I'd do...

1) Follow this guide and free up as much space as you can:

http://hothardware.com/n...r-the-windows-10-upgrade

2) Install CCleaner and eliminate as much junk as you can as well.

3) When all the junk data is gone and you're sure you've maximized free space, optimize the storage volume (TRIM basically--shown at the bottom of that article).

4) Run the "reset this pc" wizard to do a clean Windows 10 installation.

5) When the installation is complete, don't connect to the network right away. Install these drivers first:

https://downloadcenter.i...ompute-Stick-STCK1A32WFC

6) Connect to the web and let Windows 10 do its updates.

7) Clean the disk again, and optimize again...

Oh yes, I wanted to let you know, I haven't been frequenting the site because of school, drivers' ed, and volunteering. Sorry, it kind of stinks, and I'll be back soon!

So, I post this in here. Thus far, the Intel compute stick is an amazing utility. I don't generally use it, but my family does for quick research and school work. This little thing is snappy now and I highly recommend it! It works really well and it is nifty!
