10k RPM, it might as well explode.
Moving parts, not safe for use... Lilmited life at best in laptops.
Nothing wrong with 10k RPM drives, they been around for decades and still heavily used in the enterprise sector. Let alone 15k RPM
That speed sounds awesome. I'm curious what drawbacks this drive will have though. The jokes about explosions and safety aside, it still seems to possibly have chances of failure that could be high.
I've had a 10,000 RPM WD Raptor for about 6 years now with no issues or problems...
